Brymbo angling club

​WELCOME!​
Brymbo pool was used to provide cooling water for
the old blast furnaces and has been used by
Brymbo Angling Club since the 1970's. During the
early 1990's the pool was drained and landscaped,
the fish were re-stocked in 1994.
​
All the hard work has produced a desirable place to fish.
The pool has been stocked with a good variety of fish including:-
Barbel,Mirror,Common and Crucian
,Bream,Tench,Chub,Perch,Roach,Rudd,Ide.
​
The club is stocking at regular intervals.
​
No species are dominant and anglers usually end up with good mixed bags.
The club has a relaxed attitude and you will always find someone to give you advice.
​
The club also runs members only matches for both adults and juniors at all levels of competency.
