Brymbo angling club

In 2018 the club had a professional biomass survey carried out to determine stock levels , during 2019 the club developed a costed plan for approval at the 2020 AGM which was adopted unanimously , the plan below has been developed as a maintenance feeding program which targets the good health of the fish rather than weight building ,the main reason for the plan is the biomass has grown to a point that the natural food available and anglers bait combined is insufficient to support it, the feed being introduced is approximately 1% of the biomass and a healthy fish will normally consume about 5% of its body weight ,we hope this program will make our stock more active and improve future catch rates ,the only other option would be to reduce stock levels to a point were the available food source could support it.
